Industry Group Advocates Science-Led Chemical Regulation
The Chemical Industries Association (CIA) advocates for a science-led and risk-based approach to managing chemicals, including PFAS. The association believes blanket bans on numerous and varied chemicals like PFAS are complicated. This call for a data-driven approach aims to inform policy. The UK government is also publishing a national PFAS action plan.
