Historical Incident Revisited In Retrospective Coverage
Unusually high levels of radioactive radiation were measured in parts of Sweden, Finland, and Norway two days after an incident at a nuclear power plant in Ukraine. Repairs are required for the sarcophagus covering damaged reactors to prevent radiation leaks. There are five nuclear power plants in Ukraine, two of which are currently inactive. Residents of the city, including thousands in nearby areas like Maria, are now sharing their experiences in exhibitions. The situation is described as being under control compared to the initial crisis. International broadcasters are marking the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Survivors and international observers are reflecting on the catastrophe's impact on human history. The event is being observed across various broadcasting regions including Ukraine and Austria.
