Eagle Reintroduction Program Succeeds In Ireland
The golden eagle, once hunted to near extinction, is making a comeback in Ireland. For over 100 years, there were no wild eagles in the country until a reintroduction program began at the turn of this century. The program is run by the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
