New South Wales Expands Food Waste Funding
The New South Wales government announced a $10 million funding boost to address food waste and support families in need. Authorities are encouraging residents to use green bins and FOGO recycling as landfill space in Greater Sydney is projected to run out by 2030. New statewide rules requiring major institutions to recycle food waste will take effect in July.
