Authorities Promise Cleanup After Tuapse Incident
Sergey Boyko, head of the Tuapse municipal district, reported that over 13,000 cubic meters of fuel oil have been collected and removed from contaminated soil across three work sites. Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev declared an emergency regime for the entire Tuapse district. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 141 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight across various Russian regions. A fire occurred at a maritime terminal in Tuapse following a UAV attack, according to the Krasnodar Krai operational headquarters. No casualties were reported at the seaport, according to the report. A drone attack in the Tuapse region damaged several energy facilities, leading to partial power outages in local settlements. Regional Governor Evgeny Baletsky stated that all emergency services are on high alert following the incident.
