German Firefighters Deployed To Fight Dutch Wildfires
Approximately 70 firefighters from the Rhineland region began deployment to the Netherlands on Friday. The unit is traveling to assist near Eindhoven to extinguish several forest fires. The group consists of a specialized wildfire unit equipped with all-terrain firefighting vehicles. Fifty-three firefighters from North Rhine-Westphalia are deploying to the Netherlands starting today. They will assist local colleagues in extinguishing several forest fires near Eindhoven. Dutch authorities requested assistance through the European Union.
