Fire Remains Contained But Active In Harde

Emergency services are still fighting a large fire that broke out in Harde on Wednesday. A large fire involving approximately five hectares of land has been burning at an artillery training camp in Harde since yesterday morning. Smoke clouds from the blaze were visible in the surrounding area and the smell was detectable as far away as Amsterdam. Firefighters are still actively working to extinguish the two largest fire fronts in Harde and Oorschot. The incident was reported by Omroep Gelderland.
