A local state of emergency was lifted in the King Country settlement on Sunday. Approximately 50 homes were damaged by floodwaters during a major deluge last Sunday. Six people were reported seriously injured during the flooding event. Local authorities are now focusing on clearing houses and repairing septic systems.
