US Consumers Report High Housing Costs
Two-thirds of Americans report that high prices and high mortgage rates make the current period unfavorable for housing. Approximately 65% of respondents believe home prices will continue to rise, though some cities may experience price drops. Only 25% of non-homeowners predict they will purchase a house within the next five years, which is a record low. Additionally, 45% of Americans do not plan to buy a home in the foreseeable future. Research from the UK also indicates that more than two-thirds of babies use devices with screens.
