Uganda Approves New Gambling Taxes
The Ugandan Parliament has passed a reform bill establishing a 30% unified tax on gambling. Uganda will implement a unified 30% gambling tax and a 15% withholding tax on winnings. The new tax structure is scheduled to take effect starting July 1.
