Oxfam Proposes Higher Taxes For Oil Companies
Oxfam has calculated that the combined profits of the six largest oil companies this year could provide solar energy for 50 million people in Africa. The organization is proposing that these companies pay additional taxes due to high energy prices. These calculations were released following an energy summit.
