Lufthansa To Cut 20,000 Short-Haul Flights
German carrier Lufthansa announced plans to remove 20,000 short-haul flights by October. This follows similar capacity reductions by Dutch carrier KLM, which is scrapping 80 return flights from Amsterdam. United Airlines has also slashed its full-year forecast.
