IBM To Create 750 Jobs In Chicago
Groundbreaking for transit improvements at 115th and Michigan is expected to support 60,000 existing jobs and create 25,000 new opportunities. The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) estimates that the new stations could become operational as early as 2030. Meanwhile, the FAA has delayed scheduled flight reductions at O'Hare Airport until June. IBM has committed to providing 750 full-time positions at its new South Side quantum campus. Local officials confirmed the expansion of the quantum computing facility.
