Lufthansa To Cut 20,000 Short-Haul Flights
Lufthansa announced plans to reduce 20,000 short-haul flights through October of this year. The airline aims to save 40,000 tons of fuel through these cancellations. Scandinavian airlines have already canceled 1,000 flights for the coming months. The move follows reported strikes in the Black Sea region. An Asian airline has also adjusted its flight routes.
