Inner Mongolia Targets 50 AI Models
Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region plans to build three trillion-yuan industrial clusters by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan. The region is positioning itself as a major green energy production and application base for China. This expansion supports the national strategy of transmitting electricity from the west to the east. The local government aims to develop the Inner Mongolia Free Trade Pilot Zone into a high-level hub for investment and trade. Efforts focus on enhancing port capabilities and fostering an innovative industrial ecosystem. Chairman Bao Gang stated the region will focus on developing nine industrial chains valued at 100 billion yuan each. The strategy includes accelerating the integration of digital and real economies through artificial intelligence actions.
