Aluminum Prices Fall In European Markets
Copper prices fell 2.43 percent on the London Metal Exchange, closing at $5.84 per pound. Brent crude oil rose 2.8 percent in London to $107.31 per barrel. In New York, WTI crude rose 3.42 percent to $103.35 per barrel. Reuters reported that these disruptions are impacting the supply of aluminum. The price drop is being linked to the security situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
