Romanians Report Economic Hardship Amid Recession
An IRSOP economic survey conducted between April 20 and 24 indicates that nearly 70% of Romanians expect their living standards to decline within the next year. Approximately 15% of respondents believe the situation will worsen even after five years. Additionally, one-quarter of employees surveyed expressed fear of being laid off in the near future. Financial consultant Adrian Asoltanie discussed these findings on Digi 24. Over 80% of Romanians report that their economic situation is worsening.
