Indonesian Lawmaker Raises Hajj Health Concerns
The financial services sector in Indonesia recorded a growth rate of 7.92 percent, marking its highest level since 2021. Dini Rahmania, a member of Commission 8 of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), highlighted concerns regarding the readiness of Hajj health services. The concerns follow the transfer of Hajj health management responsibilities from the Ministry of Health to the Ministry of Hajj. Rahmania said the necessity of ensuring medical resource readiness, equipment, and management protocols to maintain pilgrim safety and comfort in Saudi Arabia.
