Turkey Signs Hürjet Export Agreement With Spain
Turkey has signed an agreement to export the Hürjet, the nation's first national jet trainer and light attack aircraft, to Spain. The aircraft was manufactured by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ). The deal was announced during a competition summit regarding aviation and space industry developments. The report mentions the export in relation to Majut Tekin. Signatures were finalized for the export of Hürjet aircraft to Spain. Defense Industry President Haluk Görgün attended the ceremony. The agreement specifies that a portion of the Hürjet platforms will be produced in Turkey for delivery to Spain, while another portion will be manufactured in Spain.
