Meloni Reports Record Italian Employment Figures
Italy has reached a record number of employed persons, according to reports from Radio 24. The female employment rate is at an all-time high. Both youth and general unemployment rates are at their lowest levels. Stable employment has increased while precarious work has decreased. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated that Italy has added over 1.2 million jobs and reduced precarious employment by 500,000. The Prime Minister highlighted that the country has reached its highest level of female employment in history. Opposition leaders continue to criticize the government, arguing that there are insufficient measures to support low-income workers.
