Rostec Acquires CarPrice Platform

The used car sales platform CarPrice has been transferred to the Russian state corporation Rostec. The Russian state-owned conglomerate Rostec has acquired the CarPrice platform, according to reports from Business FM Russia. Prosecutors allege Galisky has been actively involved in the military-political conflict in Ukraine since 2022. The prosecution claims his fund directed $50 million to Ukrainian companies over recent years. This transfer follows a court decision that prohibited Alexander Galisky and his investment fund, Almaz Capital Partners, from holding stakes in several companies, according to Spark Interfax data. The platform, which digitizes the sale of used cars, operates in approximately 60 cities and processes about 300 vehicles daily. The company previously operated primarily through a franchise model and had received investment. This acquisition follows a move involving several other companies from Alexander Galinsky's assets. The transition is part of a broader shift in ownership involving state-controlled entities. Lawyer Kira Karuma, representing Alexander Galitsky, noted the transaction.
