Putin Calls For Expanded Neonatal Screening In Russia

The Russian State Duma has approved a bill regarding the seizure of cryptocurrency from citizens, while the government has proposed a new bill to launch a legal cryptocurrency market. The legislation aims to address illegal crypto circulation, which is being moved toward criminalization in the Russian Federation. Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov stated that importing migrants into the country must be done in limited and reasonable volumes. He noted that while migrants are necessary, ensuring economic growth will be difficult without them. The statement comes amid public outcry regarding the perceived unfair distribution of housing certificates to migrants. Russian sources reported that enemy losses on key directions of the special operation exceeded 1,000 people within a 24-hour period. The Russian Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science stated that school programs could be reduced by 15 to 30 percent. The proposal aims to decrease the workload for both students and teachers. The goal is to reformat education to meet state demands for engineering and technological personnel. President Vladimir Putin stated that the number of diseases identified through neonatal screening must be expanded. He made the remarks during a meeting with Health Minister Mikhail Murashko at the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine. Minister Murashko noted that early screening for newborns now includes 42 diseases as of this year.
