Russian Fish Production May Fall 6 Percent
Russia is moving toward halting oil flows to Kazakhstan, a decision that threatens regional energy security and supply stability. The shrinking reserve is identified as a primary problem for the Bank of Russia. The trend has been observed during almost every meeting over the past year. The Association of Tour Operators of Russia reports that inbound tourist traffic to Russia is expected to decrease by 7% this year. The decline is projected to result in 12.5 million trips. The association attributed the expected reduction to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The Russian Ministry of Health reported that new HIV cases have decreased since 2016 and reached a historical minimum. Last year, 43,000 new cases were identified, which is an 11% decrease compared to 2021. Nearly 40% of Russians have undergone testing for the infection.
