Lotus Cars Export First Canadian Batch From Wuhan
A batch of Lotus vehicles has rolled off the production line at the Geely-owned intelligent factory in Wuhan, Hubei province. The exported vehicles are the first batch of Chinese-made electric cars to enter Canada following Canada's reduction in tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles on March 1, 2026. Lotus plans to build an overseas production capacity of 800,000 vehicles by 2030.
