Stellantis to Produce EVs in Spain Using Leapmotor Tech
Stellantis and Leapmotor announced an expanded strategic cooperation on May 7, 2026. The plan is to produce new Opel electric SUVs and Leapmotor vehicles in Zaragoza and Villaverde, Spain. Production is expected to begin as early as 2028.
