Vida Justa Movement Calls For Loan Moratorium Extension
The Vida Justa movement has described the requirement for families to resume loan payments as inhumane following the floods in Idá. Spokesperson Carlos Kangoma is advocating for the extension of payment moratoriums. Kangoma warned that total debt amounts may have increased due to the capitalization of interest. He noted that interest, commissions, and other charges were not suspended, which may impact repayment capabilities.
