Airports Report Kerosene Rationing In Asia And Italy
Northern Italian airports recently implemented brief kerosene rationing, according to expert Laura Fromberg. Some regions in Asia are also reportedly reducing fuel usage. Ralf Beisel, managing director of the Airport Association ADV, defended airlines as flight routes near profitability face doubled prices. The expert noted that supply issues are becoming a problem in specific global locations. Expert Laura Fromberg noted that some regions are experiencing kerosene shortages. Aviation fuel is being rationed in parts of Asia and was recently rationed at airports in northern Italy. Fromberg stated that Germany does not currently see the same level of scarcity.
