Russia Central Bank to Regulate Crypto Transactions
Sovcombank and MTS Bank have joined the 'Green Price' loyalty program hosted by the marketplace Ozon. The program has been available for selection by other Russian credit institutions since last autumn. Russian credit institutions are increasingly integrating with digital marketplaces to expand service reach. VTB Bank Chairman Andrey Kostin stated that banks can no longer stifle marketplaces and must instead collaborate or compete with them. VTB is already working with the Wildberries marketplace on several product lines. Analysts suggest this shift toward cooperation between banks and e-commerce platforms will benefit consumers. Partner banks will offer identical discount levels to consumers. This move follows recent regulatory shifts regarding digital assets and market competition.
