Russian Presidential Academy Director Notes Excess Economists
Tatiana Klechko, Director of the Center for Economics of Continuing Education at the Presidential Academy, believes there is an excess of economists and other specialists not in demand in the economy. She notes that many young people who studied engineering and natural sciences are now pursuing economic, management, and psychology profiles. Kommersant reports that the list of specialties affected by potential restrictions will be determined. Russian President Putin stated that Russia would consider a "soft, intelligent, and mutually divorce" with Armenia. This potential separation is contingent on Armenia's choice to implement a law that Russia opposes. Putin indicated that Russia would draw appropriate conclusions based on Armenia's decision regarding this legislation.
