China Reduces Market Access Negative List By 14%

China's market access system has been further improved, expanding the scope for enterprise investment. China's 1457 market access negative list underwent two revisions in 2022 and 2025, reducing the number of items by approximately 14%. Market access barriers have been cleared, with over 38,000 documents reviewed nationwide. By 2025, all 31 provinces in China had launched online platforms for business registration, enabling full online processing. A 2025 report indicates that China has reviewed over 38,000 market access barrier documents nationwide, revising or discarding more than 2,300. China has set a goal to reduce its carbon emissions to 2005 levels by the year 2025.
