Hubei Province is focusing on becoming a key strategic hub for the rise of China's central region. The province plans to implement seven major strategies, including advancing technological innovation and strengthening industrial development. The goal is to build a modern industrial system that leverages Hubei's advantages and contributes to high-quality economic development. Hubei Province will accelerate the development of new productive forces, aiming for strategic emerging industries to constitute about 25% of its economic structure. The province plans to maintain its manufacturing sector's proportion at around 30%. It will focus on building national advanced manufacturing clusters in areas like power batteries, modern chemicals, and Beidou applications. Hubei aims to optimize its modern urban system and promote comprehensive rural revitalization. In the first quarter, China's industrial economy showed steady recovery, with profits for industrial enterprises above designated size reaching a certain level.
