Singapore Projects S$31-32 Billion Tourism Receipts
Singapore's tourism receipts grew by more than 35% from 2024, reaching $2.3 billion, driven by major events and strong growth in the MICE sector. For the current year, tourism receipts are projected to be between $31 and $32.5 billion, with an expected 17 to 18 million international visitor arrivals. The Singapore Tourism Board cautioned that ongoing challenges, such as the energy crisis, could potentially dampen consumer spending. Sustainability and the Environment Minister Grace Fu stated that the Singapore Tourism Board (SCP) is expanding over 20 key trade partnerships to sustain visitor demand in the current challenging environment.
