Indonesia Completes Coastal Infrastructure Project In Banten

The Kuru Huitan coastal infrastructure project in Lebak Regency, Banten, has reached full completion. Local government officials and the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries are currently finalizing administrative processes to ensure functional operations by June 2026. The project aims to establish the coastal area as a new economic hub for fishing communities in South Lebak. Uunyunan, the Head of the Fisheries Office for Lebak Regency, confirmed the project status. Kemenag Kulon Progo conducts IT competency tests for PPPK in Indonesia. Local authorities in Cikuruh Wetan, Cikguesi district, have completed coastal infrastructure improvements. The project focused on repairing neighborhood roads and sanitation facilities to transform the area from a slum into an organized coastal zone. Asset management handover is scheduled for June following data validation. Local government officials expect the Cikuruh Wetan development to serve as a pilot model for other coastal regions in Banten province.
