German Bicycle Production Figures Released
Approximately 600,000 classic bicycles were produced in 2025. E-bike production saw a decline to around 1.3 million units. Nearly 500,000 people depend on the bicycle industry for livelihoods, including manufacturing, repair, rental, and bicycle tourism. The industry utilizes large-scale storage facilities capable of holding up to 50,000 bicycles in cardboard boxes on pallets.
