French Rail Network to Implement Digital Command Center
New digitalized positions are being introduced to the French rail network to improve reliability and punctuality. These roles will be connected to a digital command center in Vignes to manage train entries and exits. The upgrades target the southeast axis toward Lyon and Marseille, which is one of the most heavily used routes in France. The initiative aims to reduce network incidents through modernized infrastructure and personnel. Approximately 60% of trains will be maintained but relocated to alternative stations such as Parnasse, Gardeleste, Austerlitz, or Marne-Lavalais. disruptions are expected this weekend, specifically on the Transilien R line between Gardelion and Melin, and a total closure on the RER C line D. The analyst noted that the list of impacted stations is not exhaustive.
