Charity Demand Reaches Highest Level Since 2020
A survey of over 200 charities indicates that the demand for support has reached its highest level since 2020. The Catanlytic Foundation reported that many households are facing extreme financial pressure. Families are reportedly forced to choose between essential needs such as heating, paying bills, or purchasing food. Chief executive Teresa Moore noted that 'cold poverty' remains a but largely hidden issue.
