Direct Debit Issues Leave Customer £600 Out Of Pocket
A customer reports being £600 out of pocket due to direct debit issues with a financial institution. Despite having a separate repayment plan for a debt, a direct debit of £325 was repeatedly taken. The institution allegedly could not stop the payments and switched the funds to an account from which they could not be returned, advising the customer to have the bank bounce the payment.
