Lisbon Apartment Rents Exceed Minimum Wage
Rent in Lisbon now costs more than 167% of the minimum wage in Portugal, according to data from the European Trade Union Confederation. The city has seen price increases over the last decade. This gap between rent and income exceeds levels seen in other European capitals such as Paris, Dublin, or Luxembourg.
