Tunisia's Trade Deficit Decreases Slightly
Tunisia's trade balance showed a slight improvement in the first quarter of 2024, with the coverage rate of imports by exports reaching 75.7%, up from 75.2% in the same period of 2023. Despite this, a trade deficit of 2,532.7 million dinars was recorded by the end of March. The food industry sector saw a growth of 71.5% in exports. Tunisia has reported a slight decrease in its trade deficit.
