Polish Mining Group Plans 5,000 Job Cuts
A Polish mining group expects approximately 5,000 employees to leave the company this year. Of these, 3,600 workers are utilizing severance instruments. The company is currently verifying applications from other employees wishing to use mining severance packages. One-time severance payments are set at 170,000 PLN. Approximately 3,600 of these workers will utilize social protection instruments. The Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has already verified nearly 500 applications for benefits.
