Turkish Exports Rise 22.3% In March
Minister of Trade Omar Polat announced foreign trade data, stating that exports have increased. This expansion highlights the growing capabilities of Turkey's defense manufacturing. These exports reached a value of 962 million dollars. The report also noted electronic current exports reached 1 billion 451 million dollars. The broadcaster stated these figures demonstrate Turkey's position as a stable power in the region. Turkey's annual surplus in agriculture and food is 7.5% of the global average. The country's production is valued at over 80 billion dollars. Exports in agriculture and food also amount to approximately 30 billion dollars to the world. Turkish exports increased by 22.3% in March, reaching a total of $25.4 billion. This growth occurred despite inflationary pressures and ongoing conflict. The report also noted changes in support provided to new farmers.
