J.P. Morgan Launches Private Company Index
Morgan Stanley has launched its first Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), marking a entry for a major US investment bank into the ETF market. This ETF is noted for its competitive pricing, with fees at 14 basis points compared to BlackRock's 25 basis points. Morgan Stanley manages approximately $9.3 trillion in assets. Morgan has introduced a new index designed to provide transparency for investors regarding private companies. The index includes approximately 6,400 companies with annual revenues ranging from $10 million to $1 billion. This tool is intended for general partners, limited partners, corporations, and mid-market companies. The index is described as an institutional-class measurement tool.
