Russian Banks Join Ozon Loyalty Program
Maxim Oreshkin, deputy head of the Russian presidential administration, stated that the current global economic model effectively channels world resources to American banks without providing advantages to other nations. He asserted this situation leads to severe limitations and distortions in global economic activity. Maxim Oreshkin stated that the entire world is feeding American banks without receiving anything in return. He suggested that the current global financial system allows American financial institutions to extract rent from the rest of the world. Sovcom Bank and MTS Money have joined Ozon's 'Green Price' loyalty program. Under this program, banks provide funds to the marketplace, which then uses them to lower prices for customers paying with partner bank cards. Russian credit institutions have been able to join the Ozon program since autumn of last year.
