EU Warns Of Action Against US Tariffs
The European Union is warning of consequences if the US President implements tariff increases on cars and trucks. The German Association of the Automotive Industry has warned of the consequences for the entire sector stemming from trade disputes between the United States and the European Union. Germany is Europe's largest car producer. Hospitals are extending examination wait times, and patients are facing long queues, which are attributed to limits imposed exactly one month ago. An economic researcher warned that the German government and European Commission should not be blackmailed by US actions and must stand up to Trump. The head of the VDA automotive association fears enormous additional costs for the German and European auto industry due to potential US tariffs. This comes amid a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon.
