UAE Expands Underground Mass Transit Network
The United Arab Emirates is expanding its integrated underground transit system to accommodate a growing population. The new track will reach depths of up to 40 meters below ground. This expansion follows the emirate's population surpassing 4 million residents last year. This expansion aims to alleviate pressure on existing infrastructure caused by rapid urban and population growth.
