US GDP Growth Slows To 2 Percent
United States GDP grew by only 1.4 percent in the fourth quarter. The US economy grew at an annual rate of 2 percent in the first quarter of 2026. This figure fell below analyst expectations of 2.3 percent growth. The growth follows a contraction recorded in the previous quarter. The Eurozone is currently approaching stagflation due to energy price pressures.
