Taiwanese Businesses Thrive In Eswatini
Taiwanese businesses are investing heavily in Eswatini, primarily in the garment and textile sectors, due to the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA). Taiwanese businesses are establishing a strong presence in Eswatini, contributing to investment and job creation. Taiwanese envoy Lin Chia-lung, acting as a special envoy and foreign minister representative, has arrived in Eswatini after a stopover in Europe. The agreement was signed by Taiwan's special envoy and Foreign Minister after a trip from Europe. A presidential envoy from Taiwan arrived in Eswatini to attend the 4th anniversary of King Mswati III's coronation. The envoy also participated in celebrations for the 58th anniversary of Eswatini's independence. The mission was conducted despite concerns regarding the politicization of non-intelligence sectors by China. The trip follows instructions from President Lai.
