Thyssenkrupp Suspends Steel Division Sale Talks
Steel giant ThyssenKrupp is considering withdrawing from a green steel project. The project was intended to save thousands of jobs within the struggling industry. A withdrawal would represent a setback for the energy transition, according to the report. This decision follows previous plans to move the division to the country. The announcement was reported by WDR 2 and WDR 5. Thyssenkrupp has put negotiations with Jindal regarding the sale of its steel division on ice.
