Ethiopian Rose Exports Benefit From China Zero-Tariff Policy
New Chinese tariff policies are facilitating increased exports of Ethiopian highland roses to Chinese consumers. China has reduced tariffs on flower exports from Ethiopia to encourage export diversification. The move is intended to facilitate export diversification for African nations. A representative from the African Union Commission expressed gratitude for the initiative, noting it strengthens the partnership between China and Africa.
