Irish Manufacturing Production Expands For Sixth Month
The AIB Irish Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index rose to 54.9 in April. Production volumes expanded for the sixth consecutive month despite rising input prices for fuel, shipping, and raw materials. These price increases are attributed to the ongoing war in the Middle East. Additionally, Bank of Ireland reported that its loan growth reached 83.6 billion euro, a 5% increase since the start of the year. The lender stated its total income for the first three months of 2026 is in line with expectations.
